about us

In the beginning, mankind crafted stories to both explain natural anomalies and to engender a sense of fellowship with the world around them. Eventually, this marriage between reason and spiritual inquisition splintered into the two groups we have today: science and theology, respectively.

But somewhere along the line of humanity's cognitive evolution, theology was hijacked.

We here at Divine Dirt Quarterly want to change that. Theology began as mankind's highest creative endeavor--the prototype of literature, with each story and/or myth fine-tuned according to the individual's life experience. Our mission is to return theology to its democratic and dynamic state.

So whether you're apostle or apostate, infidel or indoctrinated, unfaltering in faith or undecided, there is something here for you.

Let's get dirty.
