-“Muham­mad” by Low­ell Isaac–

Low­ell Isaac is a life­long car­toon­ist, illus­tra­tor, and writer– with expe­ri­ence in film, comics, adver­tiz­ing, and chil­drens books. He stud­ied at the Art Insti­tute of Chicago, worked as a free­lance sto­ry­board and con­cept artist in Los Ange­les, and recieved his BFA from the John Her­ron School of Art and Design. He is cur­rently employed as a staff illus­tra­tor at Author­House Pub­lish­ing, as well as being a fam­ily man, devout athe­ist, and pop sci­ence enthu­si­ast. This piece was cre­ated for the con­tro­ver­sial “Every­body Draw Muham­mad Day”, which began in response to the threat received by South Park cre­ators for plan­ning a depic­tion of Islam’s prophet in one of their episodes.
