Lowell Isaac is a lifelong cartoonist, illustrator, and writer– with experience in film, comics, advertizing, and childrens books. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, worked as a freelance storyboard and concept artist in Los Angeles, and recieved his BFA from the John Herron School of Art and Design. He is currently employed as a staff illustrator at AuthorHouse Publishing, as well as being a family man, devout atheist, and pop science enthusiast. This piece was created for the controversial “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day”, which began in response to the threat received by South Park creators for planning a depiction of Islam’s prophet in one of their episodes.
